Apple land down south.

As you know, you have been on and off trains most of the day but here you are. You are down the south of Hokkaido where it is known for its apples.Check out the vending machine.

You have arrived in Hirosaki at the Owani onsen. Here you will enjoy a hot spring bath lined with Japanese cypress and bobbing apples. Yes you get to drink apple juice in there and when you come out …drink some apple cider vinegar or have a popsicle. If that doesn’t appeal, just relax in the surroundings .

There is a library to relax in or explore the display of local art, and traditional sewing  while you drink apple tea or coffee .Now choose what to do before dinner. Me I have been to the Onsen, made a bookmark and am now relaxing with coffee. After dinner , there is traditional concert of Tsugaru Jamison, a three stringed lute.

Oops dinner was upteen courses so we were too late but look at the light display reflecting the local embroidery and the garden by night. Bed!
