Park the car

Today you were amazing! You and I climbed to the top of Klakkur. Here it is.

As you can see, it is quite a long and steep journey. It was all up hill and got steeper and steeper. I huffed and puffed along but it did give me plenty of time to chat to the sheep and chickens. Thankfully there were also a few seats. The scenery is lovely to look at while you’re catching your breath.

Up the road to the base

Take in the scenery

Amazing!

At the top you can see 4 of the Northern Islands. Going down was heaps easier even though we didn’t go as fast as the locals and other Scandinavians. Now you thought you would have a rest. No way! You are going for a short walk in the forest. Here trees are uncommon because of the wind and thin soils. As there is a waterfall ,it was very popular today with families.

So now you can have that rest, sort your bags and be ready to go to the airport, catch a bus , and then a a train to your next destination,Manchester.
