Wasn’t it lovely having a leisurely morning and catching the train was no drama. Pleasant scenery, comfortable seat, quick journey, what more could you want. Our hotel was opposite the station and better still the laundromat was just around the corner.Clean clothes, hurrah!
As we have already been to Edinburgh before,we won’t be doing heaps of the tourist stuff.Once it stopped raining, (we are in Scotland), we went for a walk to Dean village. This is a collection of homes that have kept their original facades.
It is beside the Leith river. So a walk along it was of course required.
There are lovely street scapes , the castle of course and painters climbing out a window for smoko.
See a quiet day for you. Dinner, we finally had that dish created in Glasgow, chicken tikka masala. It was a bit like our butter chicken and not as spicy as at home. Yummy anyway. Another quiet day tomorrow for you,
Enjoying your travels from a sunny winters day in Adelaide.
Hi Ann, Liz and I missed you at dinner. Glad you are home safe with your Michael.😀
Hi Liz, we have clean clothes but no group to notice our sweet smell. Hope you have lots of fun with your new and exciting group ( our could they fail with you and Lance to show them how). Stay well and speak soon.
Glad to hear all is well in Edinburgh and you have fresh clothes.
