Wake uuuuupppppppp! Quick we will be entering the Sound soon.
Prince Christian Sound is a narrow passageway separating Greenland mainland from a mountain island group called the Cape Farewell Archipelago. It is 97km long and narrows to 480 metres wide. There is only one settlement called Aappilattoq. The scenery is amazing: barren rock slopes, waterfalls, glaciers and the occasional iceberg.

Okay it’s super foggy
Look the sun will burn off the cloud

Just look…..you won’t regret getting up early.

See, you can see more now.

Look a waterfall

Ice flows
Aappilattoq

Can you hear the waterfall? It is so loud.

  Ice!

Boom! Oops I think we hit an iceberg…..well a very little one .

Glacier

  Oh no! Iceberg!

Look at these icebergs

What do you think? Was it worth getting up early? Now you have the rest of the day and tomorrow while we are at sea to catch up on your beauty sleep.
